Echuca-Moama has established itself as the place to be for heart-starting blues and roots music and the perfect antidote for a bad case of the winter blues with its annual Winter Blues Festival.
The Vision
Creating and delivering a successful music event that will activate the Echuca-Moama region in the off peak “Winter” season, and to engage local provedores and business owners to bring the region alive with the best of Australian Blues & Roots musicians.
The WOW Factor
Bay City Event Entertainment was charged with bringing a full festival integration to the historic port of Echuca. This unique region had an endless number of venues on offer, including historical paddle steamers. Staging and curating this one of kind, capacity free event would be a tough assignment.
Bay City Event Entertainment booked and managed over 60 of the best, and up and coming Blues & Roots artists from across the country.
The festival boasted more than 25 live music stages based out of local pubs, clubs, cafes and restaurants, as well as public stages erected in the Port of Echuca. Artists and performers would play to crowds approaching 20,000 over the three-day event.
