The Event
The Geelong Show is held over four days, Thursday through to Sunday annually in mid-October. The show is regarded as Australia’s biggest four-day agricultural event, dating back to 1855.
The Vision
The showgrounds are home to multiple outdoor arenas perfect for showcasing artists and performers from our region, along with crowd favourites including monster truck racing, horse events, parades, tractor pulls and the traditional fireworks display.
The show has something for all ages, which requires careful thought when programming artists. Understanding what the crowds want is key.

The nature of the showgrounds is steeped in regional history and what better place to entertain? Bay City Events coordinated and curated over 30 hours of musical delight during the show, entertaining crowds of thousands.
26 slots are filled by 13 local talents, consisting of solo’s, duo’s, trios and bands kicking off from 10.30am right through to 8.30pm.
